who is Boulder woodworking
Erik raises his three young children in Boulder, Colorado with his wife Jessamine. Established in 2024, Boulder Woodworking Ltd. has arisen from years of developing skills and serving others. He has always enjoyed working with his hands and using attention to detail for critical problem-solving. Erik has a passion for creating pieces that help where we work, play, rest and worship display the soul of his clients.
His background in Environmental Sociology enables him to consider the effects that certain creative decisions have on emotions, behavior, and social interactions. With a background in Environmental Sustainability, he integrates a life-cycle perspective on all the materials and processes he uses, taking into consideration ecological and social factors. His degree in Fine Woodworking gives him the skillset to execute the ideas that he envisions.
When not in the workshop, you can find Erik with his three children working on their front yard garden in the Martin Acres neighborhood of south Boulder or hiking in El Dorado Canyon.

Taking domestically sourced hardwoods straight from local sawmills and milling them flat, smooth and to your desired dimensions. Using solid steel brackets made in the USA and inserting a slot in the back of the shelves to conceal them. Sanding smooth and applying a clear protective finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood.

We work with you on the design or you give us free reign. We’ll source the wood and shape it according to how it can best create the space that speaks your soul’s language.
